News:

(June  2005)

Year four of the Rogue Fest wrapped up last night and what a great variety of bands we had this year!  We'd like to thank everyone who came out to the festival and especially everyone who helped out!  Unfortunately, attendance was down from previous years.   We suspect that this was due in part to the fact that everything was set up so late this year.  Because the bands were determined so close to the date of the festival, we didn't really get a chance to promote as we have previous years.

With that in mind, we're setting a much earlier deadline for submissions this year.  Submissions for the 2006 festival will be accepted from June 20, 2005 until November 1, 2005.

If you submitted a package for one of the previous years and would still like to be considered for next year's festival, please let us know (you do not need to submit another package).

It's been a while since the last update and we have lots of big news!  Rogue Fest is moving to a new venue this year.  This year's festival will be held at Jake's Toadhouse in Decatur, GA.  We're also moving the date of the festival from July up to June 18 & 19.  We'll be announcing this year's bands very soon, so check back here for more details!

(September 2004)
We're in the planning stages of the 2005 festival and, unfortunately, we're going to be looking for a new venue.  The Shakespeare Tavern won't be available in July, so we'll have to hold the festival elsewhere.  If anyone knows of an appropriate venue (preferably a theater), please let us know!

Also, I've finally finished updating the page for the 2004 festival.

Once again, this year's Rogue Independent Music Festival was an incredible success!  We'd like to thank the bands and everyone else who helped us out this year!

The band UT will be taking the place of Ethan at this year's festival.  I'd like to thank everyone who has contacted us offering to play and giving suggestions for replacement bands!

The band Ethan has unfortunately had to cancel all of their shows next week including their appearance at Rogue Fest, so they will not be appearing at the festival as originally planned.  Also, the Rogue Fest Pre-Show that was scheduled for Fri., July 11 at the Somber Reptile has been canceled.

(May 2003)
We have received confirmation from all 12 bands!  Tickets for the festival go on sale June 1, 2003.

I have received many emails asking if there is going to be a second festival in 2003.  At this point, we ARE planning a 2003 festival, but details have not been confirmed.  We plan to include some of the bands from last year as well as a few new regional acts.  If you have questions about the festival or would like to have your band considered, please contact me at:
