Karma Lingo
Karma Lingo

The Atlanta, GA based band, Karma Lingo, brings their music to life by combining their virtuosity with their experience in theater.   All 6 members sing and play a variety of instruments creating an atmosphere with endless possibilities!  Although their influences are too numerous to name, some of the ones that stand out the most are Kansas, Queen and Yes.

Cobweb Strange
Cobweb Strange

Formed in 1995 in Atlanta, GA, Cobweb Strange has released three studio albums, has been featured on numerous compilation CDs and DVDs and has toured across the United States.  Cobweb Strange plays dark, psychedelic music and has been compared to bands such as Porcupine Tree, The Police, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Rush and The Doors.

Timothy Pure
Timothy Pure

Neo-prog legends Timothy Pure will be performing for the first time in Atlanta in the last seven years!  The band is planning to begin recording their first album in many years right after the festival.

Farpoint
Farpoint

Farpoint formed in 1997. Their first live performance was at Yescamp '98, a gathering of Yes fans in South Carolina. The recorded output of Farpoint consists of Just Like You, a two-song cd single released in 2000 as a part of a fundraiser for the Special Olympics, First Light, Farpoint's first full-length album released in April, 2002 and the follow-up to First Light, entitled Grace released in 2003.  The band is currently working on their third album due out in late 2004.

Unbounded Sky
Unbounded Sky

Unbounded Sky, is an Atlanta based progressive rock/fusion band made up of 5 High School students from Gwinnett and Dekalb Counties.  Their music has been described as somewhere inbetween Yes, Early 70's Genesis, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, with a strong compositional background in both Jazz and Classical.  Their pieces often include literary allusion, and hearken back to the sidelong suites of the progressive heyday of the 1970s.

Hazard Factor

Hazard Factor crafts an adventurous mix of ambient music and progressive rock with Middle Eastern influences; ranging from dark dynamics and driving rhythms to beautiful ambience. They often sound like they are playing with a 40 piece orchestra, a full choir, and several soloists, yet they create their mysterious and intriguing blend of sounds with just a few people – and it's never the same twice.

 

Z-Axis
Z-Axis

Post-progressive rock; New-edge ambience; Psychedelia with a world-beat flavor; Funky, frenetic jams; Eclectic instrumental soundtracks to surreal multi-media experiences...Their debut CD, "Reality Check" has received enthusiastic reviews from across the world and is still selling briskly. Meanwhile Z-Axis has begun recording their second CD, due to be released later in 2004.  Z-Axis's live performances frequently incorporate multi-media elements, visual imagery and performance art. They frequently featured free-form improvs in their set alongside the more "composed" pieces.

 Man on Fire
Man on Fire

Man on Fire was introduced to the world with the release of their self-titled debut CD in 1998.  Formed by Jeff Hodges (vocals, keys, production) and Eric Sands (guitars, basses), the Man on Fire sound combines melodic vocals, fretless bass, layered keyboards, and heavy guitar soundscapes.  With influences ranging from Japan and Peter Gabriel to Rush and Kevin Gilbert, Man on Fire's second release, The Undefined Design, has received wonderful reviews and substantial sales over the last year.  

Lord Only
Lord Only

Lord Only is an Atlanta-based hard rock band with intricate arrangements, intense instrumental passages, memorable melodies, lush harmony vocals and diverse influences such as Rush, King's X, old U2, Yes, the Beatles, and the great rhythm sections of Motown and the 70's and 80's.  Lord Only is electric and eclectic.  Their first CD, Fear and Trembling, was released in mid 2003.

Electric Poem

Drawing from a variety of influences, Electric Poem has been around longer than any of the other bands playing at the festival.  Their most recent album, The Crystal Mind, just went into its second pressing this year.  The current lineup of the band features original members Thomas Luke and Wade Summerlin as well as members of Cobweb Strange.

Belljar
Belljar

Atlanta based progressive / alternative band, Belljar, employs a combination of acoustic guitar, fretless bass, tribal rhythms and fierce female vocals that result in a hard and haunting sound that's brutal yet beautiful.  

Wheatstone Bridge
Wheatstone Bridge

Wheatstone Bridge is a progressive rock/technical metal band from Hendersonville, NC.  Influenced by the great progressive rock bands of the 70's thru the present, Wheatstone Bridge ranges from the bludgeoning to the ethereal to the intricate and back again.
