The Bands (2002):

Karma Lingo

Karma Lingo brings their music to life by combining their virtuosity with their experience in theater.   All 6 members sing and play a variety of instruments creating an atmosphere with endless possibilities!
Although their influences are too numerous to name, some of the ones that stand out the most are Kansas, Queen and Yes.

Cobweb Strange

Formed in 1995, Cobweb Strange has released two studio albums, has been featured on numerous compilation CDs and has toured across the United States.  Their 3rd album, A Breath of October, is due out just in time for the Rogue Music Festival!   Cobweb Strange plays dark, psychedelic music and is frequently compared to Rush, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, The Police and The Doors.

Paine's Promise

Paine's Promise is a three piece power trio with very well orchestrated songs and great vocal harmonies.  They are often described as Rush meets The Pretenders with a heavy influence by Yes.

Natural Tension

Natural Tension has a unique style  with traces of Oingo Boingo, Rush, Faith no More, Mr. Bungle and  Kansas (minus violin) plus a raw powerful mayhem in their style.  All four members share vocal responsibilities.  Natural Tension's first CD, "Haitian Holiday", was released in 2000 and they are currently working on their follow up.

Trilobite Cafe

This Nashville, Tennessee band has been described by some as "Firehoe-ish bass-led progressive rock band with keyboard and violin" and "Violinist Stephane Grappelli meets Uriah Heep in a dark alley after 10 cups of coffee" but has also been likened to Frank Zappa. They just released their first CD, entiltled "Mexican Vacation."

Paracelsus

Paracelsus is set to give a very Prog, sometimes avant-garde twist to the Goth scene. Mostly covers for now (including King Crimson's "Starless" and Genesis' "Carpet Crawlers"), but should be branching into originals and free improvisation.

KTM

KTM has been described as a Gospel singer singing over modern Heavy Metal music.  They released their first CD in April of 2000 and are currently working on their second.
